This standard melodrama from Kanto studios is director Hiroshi Mukai's gender-switch version of his own Hirusagari No Aibiki, released by Nihon the same year. Takako Uchida (Kokotsu No Izumi) plays a gangster who kidnaps her former boyfriend (Joji Ohara), but finds the spark of romance beginning to reignite. Eventually, the reunited lovers join forces to take down Uchida's boss, an evil Yakuza kingpin. Not as violent as many of Mukai's later films (notably the notorious Deep Throat in Tokyo), nor as well made as its predecessor, there is little here to suggest the comparisons to Koji Wakamatsu which were made about Mukai throughout the 1960s.
