This underdeveloped story of a romance between two poor Tel Aviv teens and a young woman from a "better" background is revealed in a series of flashbacks that do not clarify the tale very much. The teens regularly go to a youth club meant to keep them gainfully occupied and off the streets. But the youth club is run by instructors from a kibbutz who come from the more affluent side of the tracks. This conflict of class interests and/or biases forms the backdrop for the tentative story of teen romance, but the whole is less than the sum of its parts. With amateur actors (members of the Hashomer Hatzair youth club named Zawta) and a weak script, director Igal Pe'eri may not be able to show this drama outside of the Zawta club itself.
