Producer/director/star Benjamin F. Wilson and his frequent leading lady Neva Gerber went through the usual B-Western clichés in this obscure oater distributed by low-budget company Rayart. Wilson played a newcomer to Arizona who saves Gerber and her kin from a usurper. As a reward, he is promised the girl's hand in marriage. Wilson produced, wrote, directed, and starred in numerous low-budget Westerns and action melodramas throughout the silent era, few of which have survived. His reputation rests today with a series of cheaply made serials, the last of which, The Voice From the Sky (1930), was advertised as the first "100% sound serial." Wilson died in August of the same year.
