The title tells all in this 47-minute African documentary. Dr. C. Ernest Cadie, listed in the credits as cameraman and producer, also narrates the film -- or does he? Halfway through the picture, Cadie's voice suddenly and inexplicably changes. The more jaundiced critics of the time were of the opinion that Cadie never set foot in Africa, relying entirely upon excerpts from earlier films: this turned out not to be true, though it's surprising that Cadie would use so many stock shots when his own footage could stand on its own. The fact that many of the female natives are shown topless enabled Wild Men of Kalihari to be sold on the exploitation circuit.
