While some sources refer to this Vim one-reel comedy as a Plump and Runt film, it's actually a starring vehicle for actress Elsie McLeod, and there's no indication of the presence of Runt (Billy Ruge) anywhere in the film, just Oliver Hardy as Plump. McLeod plays his wife. The only flaw in their otherwise-happy marriage is their mutual jealousy. When Plump comes home late from his job, he claims overwork. Mrs. Plump suspects different when he gets a phone call from a woman. She doesn't believe it's the lady janitor -- Plump's story, which is true -- so after her husband has left, she decides to follow him, disguised in his clothes. But she doesn't leave until Plump is returning, and when he sees what he believes is a man leaving his house, he begins to wonder about his wife. He doesn't find her at home, so he disguises himself in her clothes to look for her. At a café, Mrs. Plump runs afoul of two crooks who beat her up. Her husband happens on the same café and saves the "boy" from the crooks. He takes the victim home and discovers it's his wife wearing his clothes. Explanations result.
