In his first of 21 very low-budget Westerns for producer-director Charles R. Seeling, Guinn "Big Boy" Williams starred as the weakling son of a rancher. When a couple of ranch hands (Charles Arling and Bert Appling) frame the youngster in a rustling scheme and a bank robbery, Williams proves that he is a man. Maryon Aye, a 1922 WAMPAS Baby Star, and Will Rogers, Jr. also appeared in the film, which was written by Williams. Seeling later teamed the brawny actor with his wife Kathleen Collins and a wolf dog, but Big Boy's following never reached beyond the hinterlands. In the sound era, Williams became a popular comic supporting actor, often playing hayseeds in Westerns.
