Hot on the heels of the inaugural 3D feature-film Bwana Devil, Rialto Films released the stereoscopic 37-minute featurette Triorama. Actually, this film is comprised of four even shorter short subjects. Lensed in the Kodachrome color process, the shorts contained herein are "Sunday in Stereo," "Indian Summer," "American Life" and "This is Bolex Stereo." As their titles indicate, the first three films are basically travelogues, while the closing attraction is a glorified commercial. When first shown in New York, Triorama was projected on a screen that was twice as high as it was wide, not unlike the earliest "Imax" presentations.
