Running 10 minutes shy of an hour, the Israeli Tomorrow's a Wonderful Day combines documentary techniques with a linear narrative. The central character is Benjamin, a teenaged Jewish-German refugee. Having just been liberated from the Nazi concentration camps, Benjamin is bitter and withdrawn. He learns anew how to love and enjoy life when he resettles in Israel's Children's Village. Tomorrow's a Wonderful Day was directed by Dr. Siegfried Lehmann, one of the Village's directors. The film is essentially a fund-raising effort, albeit an entertaining one.
