Filmmakers Oscar Moreno and Xavier Baig present a powerful portrait of a man who has lived life on his own terms and is now facing up to the consequences in this documentary. Toni lives in a small apartment near Barcelona, where he needs an oxygen mask to survive and isn't expected to last another year. Toni has spent nearly all his adult life as a drug addict, and he's supported his habit as a high-level dealer. However, while Toni lived the good life for many years and traveled the globe as he plied his trade, three decades as a junkie as taken a severe toll on his health, and through sharing needles and unprotected sex he's contracted a number of serious illnesses, including AIDS. While a pair of loyal friends stand by him and help him with his needs, Toni spends most of his days alone, and while he's painfully aware of his mortality and the costs of his hedonistic lifestyle, he remains unrepentant, refusing to apologize to anyone for leading the life he wanted.
