This picture is one of a series of comedies, based on the stories by Charles E. Van Loan which appeared in the Saturday Evening Post, depicting life inside a movie studio. Although they all starred Arthur Accord as Buck Parvin, this time around he takes a bit of a back seat to stage star Adele Farrington, who stars as the bored wife of a tire manufacturer. Addie Gribble (Farrington) has decided to put some excitement in her life by pursuing a career in motion pictures. What she doesn't know is that her disapproving husband has already had a talk with a director at the studio. As he and the husband have agreed, the director tells Addie she's the perfect leading lady for his next film. What he doesn't tell her is that it's a comedy in which she has to do the most grueling menial labor imaginable. And that's only day one. The next day they force her to do a mile-long dash and dangle from the end of a rope in a fire scene. After this kind of excitement, Addie tells her husband that a movie career is not for her after all.
