Viola Dana plays a secret agent in this fluffy comedy-drama. Detective Flint (DeWitt Jennings) gives Rosa Moreland (Dana) an assignment to track down George Sala, an opium smuggler (Edward Cecil). To gather evidence, she shadows a man she believes to be aligned with Sala, John King (Gaston Glass), but winds up falling in love with him. Since she doesn't want to turn him in, Rosa insists that she could find nothing on him. But Flint, realizing that she is involved with King, replaces her with a male agent. Rosa doesn't want to have to testify against King either, and in spite of Flint's efforts to stop them, the couple wed. Only after they marry is it discovered that King is a Washington secret agent who was also investigating the smugglers.
