A lonely storyteller who lost his audience when his children grew up and moved away rails against the Baron of the Wind to return his children, only to discover that death has a way of making even the most unattainable wishes come true. Calum MacLeoud lives alone in his Cape Breton home, his grown children having long since struck out on their own. Now all alone and longing for an audience to hear his imaginative tales, Calum ventures out into the storm one evening and yells to the skies for his children to be returned. As soon as the words leave Calum's lips, the old man drops dead. Now, as word of Calum's death reaches his children and everyone convenes to attend his wake, the dearly departed proves that he's still got one last surprise in store for his unsuspecting offspring. Gaelic storyteller Angus MacLeod makes a special appearance in a film featuring music by internationally renowned Canadian folk singer Mary Jane Lamond.
