The beautiful Katherine MacDonald stars in this rather snooty society drama. Diana and Silvette Tennant (MacDonald and Leota Lorraine) are a pair of society sisters, who, after the failure of the Edgerton-Tennant Company, find themselves in straitened circumstances. Diana's social standing is also hampered because her name was connected with a murder in Reno. James Edgerton (Nigel Barrie), whose father was also involved in the company's failure, loves Diana, even though she won't give him the time of day. Rivett (William Mong) asks Diana and Silvette to stage a fashionable party, and James somehow manages to join the entertainment staff. At the party, Colonel Follis Curmew (William Clifford) insists on talking about the Reno affair, and follows Diana up to her apartments, much to the consternation of Mrs. Wemyss (Hedda Nova), a widow who is interested in the Colonel herself. Curmew has information that clears Diana's name, and she gives her heart to James.
