Director Tran Van Thuy returned to the site of the Mai Lai massacre (the subject matter of his 1987 film The Story of Kindness or How to Behave) and documents the return of two American pilots in this 32-minute film. The United States airforce men had resisted participating in the slaughter themselves, opting to save lives rather than end them. The film also includes footage of an American civilian commemorating a park in the name of peace.
