aka The Indian Princess Oddly enough, even though this feature was shot in Italy, the plot takes place in India and none of its characters are Italian. An Englishman come to the jungles of India on a hunt and he encounters a Rajah. The Rajah's daughter (Lydia Quaranta) is extremely ill, but the Englishman helps cure her. A romance springs up between the girl and the young hunter, and after she has recovered, the Rajah gladly gives her away to the man who ministered to her. Italy was still thought of as a major creative force when this picture was made, and critics noted the fine photography and the use of wild animals that apparently weren't anywhere near as tame as your usual motion picture beasts.
