In this typical Selig Polyscope two-reel melodrama, Harold Lockwood disguises himself as a hobo and goes on the road to locate the brother (H.A. Livingston) of the girl he loves. The latter was played by Selig's top leading lady at the time, the blond Kathlyn Williams. Today, Williams is perhaps best remembered for playing the title role in the serial The Adventures of Kathlyn, also produced in 1913. Lockwood later became a major star in tandem with the equally blond May Allison. Sadly, he perished in the 1918 flu epidemic.
