Veteran action stars George Larkin and Ruth Stonehouse starred in this obscure silent melodrama, written by genre specialist George Hively, as a crusading cub reporter and a socialite involved with a gambling racket. There is a car chase and a climactic rescue of Stonehouse, abandoned by the villain (Al Ferguson) to fend for herself in the rapids. Larkin appeared in scores of very low-budget action-adventures and Westerns for Clinton Productions, a company specializing in providing inexpensive thrills for the hinterlands.
