This farce comedy marked the screen debut of actress Irene Fenwick. Suburbanite Larry Brice (George LeGuere) is enticed by his neighbor, Rolliston, to stay in town and do some cabaret-hopping. So Brice calls his wife Hetty (Fenwick), lies about staying late on the job and hits the night spots. By the time he shows up in the wee hours of the morning she's figured out what he's been up to. But what she hasn't figured on is that her husband has brought home a friend -- Sammy, the director of the Italian orchestra. Brice leaves for work without telling Hetty there's a strange man sleeping over. He is discovered by a shocked maid, and refuses to leave until somebody gets him some decent street clothes. Unfortunately they arrive while a group of suffragettes is meeting at the Brice's. To make things even worse, Hetty's mother shows up. Hetty and Larry eventually make up, while ma thrashes Sammy and sends him on his way.
