Filmmaker Zac Adams travels to Adams, Tennessee to explore a haunting so terrifying that nearly 200 years after the original events occurred, many locals still refuse to discuss the details. About one hour outside of Nashville resides a quiet town named Adams. Back in the 1800s, Adams was known as Red River. There, between the years 1870 and 1820, local farmer John Bell and his family experienced an increasingly terrifying series of paranormal events that were said to have been set into motion during a bitter land dispute with spiteful widow Kate Bats. In the wake of that altercation, John Bell was hunting on his farmland with friends when the group encountered a mysterious creature with the head of a rabbit and the body of a large dog. When the animal was shot, it vanished without a trace, signaling the beginning of a haunting that eventually resulted in the death of the cursed farmer at the hands of a powerful entity, and the birth of a disturbing paranormal legend.
