The popular Thanhouser "kidlet," Helen Badgley, starred in this sentimental comedy-drama filmed on-location in and around New York City and preserved by the Library of Congress. Helen and her older sister Irene (Marion Fairbanks) are saved from a runaway carriage by mounted police officer McCracklin (Boyd Marshall). When the officer, who has fallen in love with Irene, refuses to marry her because of his low paying job, Helen takes matters into her own little hands and persuades McCracklin's boss (Dave Keleher) to make him a sergeant.
