This Holocaust documentary focuses on Terezin, a little-known camp used by the Nazis for the internment of Jews. It was turned into a "Potemkin Village," or false town, and in 1944 it was (successfully) used to convince the Red Cross and others that Jews were merely being relocated rather than being exterminated. For most, it was a way-station on the way to one of the extermination camps; this documentary focuses on the stories of some of Terezin's survivors, and was made during their 1986 reunion.
