Produced by Universal and released in nine segments between August 20 and October 16, 1919, this series of Western two-reelers starred Marin Sais, the wife of burgeoning Western star Jack Hoxie. A native Californian, Miss Sais was arguably the era's greatest horsewoman and a veteran of such series as Stingaree (1915) and The American Girl (1917). She remained in films through the early 1950s and is perhaps best remembered for playing "The Duchess" in the final series of "Red Ryder" Westerns.
