A young society scion (Wally Wales) is hi-jacked by a couple of bandits (Charles "Slim" Whitaker and Frank Ellis) who force him to drive them West in this average silent Western from assembly-line company Action Pictures. Abandoned in the wilderness, Wally encounters yet another outlaw, Billy Martin (Walter Brennan), who knocks him unconscious and steals both his car and his clothes. Dressed in Billy's garb, Wally is of course mistaken for a horse thief and arrested. Billy, meanwhile, is wounded during a bank heist and seeks shelter with his sister Ruth (Olive Hasbrouck). But before he expires, the bank robber confesses to horse thievery and Ruth is able to clear Wally of all charges. A former extra and stunt-player, Brennan began his long career as a character actor in independent Westerns and melodramas such as this one.
