This Gaumont travelogue was originally shipped out on the same reel as the company's The Flat Next Door. Tarascon was a newly founded city in the south of France, and as such had never appeared before onscreen. The camera lingered lovingly on the community's brand-spanking-new architecture, and on its happy, prosperous-looking citizens. The audience was then treated to a brief excursion along the Rhone river. Variety was impressed by Tarascon on the Rhone going so far as to label the photography as "magnificent."
