In this Baby Marie Osborne film, little Mary (played by Osborne) is celebrating her fourth birthday party by putting on a kiddie presentation of Cinderella (Mary, of course, plays the lead). The next day, she is taken for a ride by her chauffeur (Henry King, who also directed). In front of them is an auto accident, and when the chauffeur gets out to help, gypsies steal the car, not realizing Mary is inside until they get back to their camp. They intend to hold her for ransom, but she runs away while they argue and wanders to a shack in the woods. A cranky old man lives there, who happens to be her grandfather (Daniel Gilfether). Little Mary wins over the grumpy old guy, and the next day, when the chauffeur comes searching for her, a reconciliation is effected between her grandfather and his son, her father. This was a heartwarming, if not particularly exciting, addition to Baby Marie's long list of film credits.
