Archival film and recordings along with personal accounts reveal the passionate and complex personality of this great artist. Pablo Casals made his musical debut at the age of 14. During his lifetime he played for many heads of state including Queen Victoria and President Kennedy, and established the Prades Festival. Casals died in 1973 in Puerto Rico in self-imposed exile from his homeland.
