Two construction workers (Blake Cousins, Joe Ross) go to a cabin and find a guy spurting blood as a psycho named John hacks him to death with a machete. The heroes beat the killer up and throw him in their truck; there's a fairly well-staged fight scene in the moving vehicle leading to a chase across the cliffs. John dons a gas mask for some reason and blasts another worker to pieces with a shotgun. Then he gets pulled through a copy of the Necronomicon (amusingly, it's H.R. Giger's graphic album rather than a "real" one) and gets possessed, as do other construction crew members. They proceed to float around the cabin, the neighborhood, and a boat attacking the heroes in a pretty silly knock-off of the Evil Dead films.
