Loosely based on a true incident that happened during the 1956 Suez war, this low-budget, undistinguished melodrama by Israeli director Ivan Longyel tells the tale of two men caught behind enemy lines. An Israeli Air Force pilot with a tolerant nature and an Israeli army officer who hates Arabs are both trapped behind Egyptian army lines in a deserted Bedouin encampment. They find a young woman and her small baby abandoned at the site and though the officer has an aversion to Arabs, they agree to save them both. The pilot sets to work on a broken-down plane as the men and the woman get ready to escape.
