Roy Stewart, a genial cowboy star of the silent era plays the lead in this western. His character here, Bob Gordon, comes into the picture when ranch owner Jim Carson (L.D. McKee) calls on the Texas Rangers for help in capturing a group of cattle rustlers. Gordon comes to work for Carson. The new man gets along quite well with his employer's pretty daughter, Jean (Ethel Fleming), but there is a mutual animosity between him and the foreman, Dave Merrill (Leo Willis). The hostility is logical because Gordon, in reality, is the Texas Ranger sent to hunt down the rustlers and Merrill is the head of the varmints. An attempt to frame Gordon as a cattle rustler fails, and Merrill snatches Jean and locks her away in his secluded cabin. She has to fight for her honor while Gordon rushes to the rescue. As in all proper westerns, the hero gets the girl and gets his man.
