Master Vinayak continues his wildly popular series of social satires with this episodic spoof on India's feudal nobility. Soon after marrying her husband Chimanrao (Damuanna Malvankar), Kautai (Sahuntala Bhome) claims that she is the distance relative of the sovereign of a small southern kingdom and sets out with her husband and her unmarried cousin, Gundyabhau (Vishnupant Jog), to visit her family's palace. They are met at the rail station by a Ford car pulled by a pair of oxen. The palace proves to be less than palatial -- the house has no electricity or running water and the servants are crooked. Later, the avowedly misogynist Gundyabhau finds himself utterly beguiled by a beautiful dancer (Vatsala Kumthekar).
