Produced by poverty row regular Benjamin F. Wilson, this obscure silent western starred one of the era's less spectacular screen cowboys, Dick Hatton. Hatton played a supposed half-wit forced to impersonate a sheriff. The half-wit, of course, is actually a feared lawmen who quickly brings the villain to justice. Despite neither looks nor any acting capabilities to speak off, Hatton managed to carve a niche for himself in independently produced westerns until his death in an automobile accident in July of 1931.
