Produced and directed by Harry S. Webb, this silent poverty row western starred Jack Perrin as a rancher falsely accused of robbing a neighbor and then killing him. About to be lynched, Perrin is rescued in the nick of time by a surprise eye witness, a young child. With a pleasant personality, more acting prowess than some of his rivals, and riding Starlight, one of the best looking horses around, Perrin nevertheless could never truly escape low-budget, independent fare such as Ridin' West. Like most of his silent peers, he turned to supporting roles in the sound era.
