A right-wing, 19-year-old blue-collar laborer living with a woman and their son in a Rotterdam tenement district explains that his government "owes" him a house because he is a pure-bred Dutchman. This and other ultraconservative stances are compared to the same young man's activities as a 14-year-old in a punk-rock band, rebelling against society and the establishment. Although some perceive the two manifestations as very different, in this case, his attitude seems remarkably consistent.
