Released back-to-back with the Kinemacolor travelogue Winter Sports at Are was the self-explanatory Paris Fashions. The Kinemacolor process utilized a combination of tinted frames and colored filters to create the illusion of rich, full-color photography on screen. This process was shown to the utmost advantage in Paris Fashions, with the gowns and wraps depicted herein displayed in all their colorful glory. Most of the designs were the work of one Paquin, considered the best in the business back in 1911. Added to the entertainment value of this one-reel fashion show was the fact that all the models were uniformly gorgeous.
