Greek filmmaker Grigoris Grigoriou directed this winning adaptation of the Nikos Tsiforos play about a young man named Thomas (Dinos Eliopoulos) who works at a car dealership and is thought to be a weak-willed moron by most of his family. One day, Iraklis, an exact double of Thomas, shows up and starts posing as him, managing to con Thomas' wife (Gelly Mavropoulou), his mother-in-law (Marika Krevata), and his uncle (Nikos Stavridis), who puts a private detective (Koulis Stolingas) on the case. Eventually, Thomas enters and wins the Thessaloniki Song Festival, revealing that he was actually Iraklis the whole time, teaching his family that he is not the bumbling fool they thought him to be.
