A young man returns to the old homestead near the Mexican border only to find his father murdered and the place turned into a gambling resort known as The White Owl in this low-budget Western produced by Jesse J. Goldburg. Dave Carson (Bob Custer) arrives just in time to save innocent Marion Moore (Adalyn Mayer) from being ravished by unscrupulous gambler Monte Mallory (Bruce Gordon). The girl is later kidnapped by an associate of Mallory's (Ethan Laidlaw) and Dave teams up with famed outlaw Quantrell, who also has a beef with the gambler. The two follow the villains to their hideout after a furious battle manage to rescue Marion. A rather dour B-Western hero, Bob Custer was a former cowpuncher and rodeo rider who looked good on a horse but couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag. Despite that handicap, Custer continued to star for low-budget outfits through 1937.
