What sublime innocence to assume that divorce was a "disease" that could be cured. That seems to be the premise of this half-reel Selig comedy. Having married a man much older than herself, a social-climbing young wife soon becomes bored by her stuffy, stay-at-home husband. She begins keeping company with a rakish Englishman, and when her husband complains, she huffily walks out on him and demands a divorce. The husband gets even by dating another woman (actually a private detective) in full view of his errant wife. Her jealous passions aroused, wifey dutifully returns to her husband, while the Englishman is unceremoniously booted out of their house.
