Yojiro Takita follows up on his film Bokura wa Minna Ikiteiru -- a comedy about dirty deeds in a fictitious Southeastern Asian nation -- with this comedy about dirty deeds in the very real country of Thailand. Misuzu Kono (Misa Shimizu) is reaching the end of her tether with her job as a tour guide. For her efforts of shepherding obnoxious, demanding Japanese tourists through customs and around the sights of Bangkok, she gets little pay and no thanks. With her current batch, she is forced to push the shopping cart of a avaricious elderly couple and fetch condoms for a pervert afraid of catching AIDS from Patong prostitutes. Yet when she spends two days doggedly searching for her charge's passports, which the hotel lost, Misuzu gets a boot on the can instead of a pat on the back. With passports in hand and brimming full of pent-up rage, she approaches two punks -- a Japanese college dropout named Tondabayashi (Kiyoto Hagiwara) and half -Japanese, half-Thai associate Joy (Morio Kazama) -- who bilked her out of chump change the previous day. She wants to sell the passports and she wants them to help. Soon, the three are working a big-time passport racket.
