This Lubin domestic comedy was originally released in tandem with the 500-foot comedy Resourceful Robert. The wife of a banker, Mrs. Rivington pawns her necklace in order to loan her brother enough money to invest in a sure-fire stock deal. Mr. Rivington comes home, finds the necklace missing, and assumes that his wife has given the jewelry to a lover. Pridefully, Mrs. R refuses to explain, and is summarily kicked out of her own house. When the brother shows up to explain, Mr. R begs his wife to forgive him, but now it is her turn to do the "indignant" act. It is up to Mrs. Rivington's cherubic little daughter to bring her mother and father back together.
