This standard-issue Pathe comedy gets under way as a jovial married couple decides to take an excursion on a tandem bicycle. Alas, Mr. and Mrs. Jollygood are inexpert in navigating the bike through the busy city streets. After knocking over pedestrians, pushcart peddlers and various and sundry other obstacles, the couple is arrested, and their bicycle is impounded. The costs of the damages incurred by the Jollygoods is itemized on a slip of paper, shown in tight close-up near the end of the film. When first screened in New York, Mr. and Mrs. Jollygood Go Tandeming was accompanied by a "live" lecturer, whose attempts at verbal sound effects met with disapproval from the audience.
