In 1916, Marguerita Fischer starred in Miss Jackie of the Navy. During the year between that picture and this one, the United States entered World War I, so it seemed like a good idea to bring back the spunky character of Jackie, this time as a teenage Army brat. Jackie spends most of her time driving her father, Colonel Kerwood (Hal Clements), up a wall. She also has a sweetheart, Lieutenant Adair (Jack Mower). The plot thickens when Jackie suspects her lover of being a spy for the Germans. When she looks more deeply into the situation, she uncovers a group of traitors who are going to blow up a train loaded with military officials. With the help of her Lieutenant -- who, it turns out, was innocent all along -- Jackie foils their scheme and saves the day.
