This video was featured at a show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, celebrating the age known as <I>La Belle Epoque</I>. This "beautiful era" was from 1890 to 1914. Some of the leading figures of the times, including Jacques-Henri Lartigue and Enid Goulden-Bach, provide recollections of the gay '90s and events leading up to World War I. Other visual aids include photographs and film clips, along with re-enactments in period costumes.
