Violet Kendall (Ethel Clayton) is miserable because her home is dominated by her husband's two maiden aunts (Justine Cutting and Eugenie Woodward). But her husband Roger (Rockcliffe Fellowes) is too busy to pay any attention to his domestic situation -- as an assistant district attorney, he is intent on getting an indictment against a gang of gamblers. But the gamblers are in league with the DA (Frank Goldsmith), and Violet uncovers a scheme in which the villains have hired a hit man (Johnny Hines) to get rid of Roger. To foil this plot, she lures the DA to her home so he's the one who gets shot. Although Violet has compromised herself by this situation, a servant explains things to Roger, and he finally wakes up and rectifies his home life. With its contrived plot, this was one of World's lesser program features.
