In this comic road movie from writer and director Mehrshad Karkhani, Pejman Bazeghi and Babak Hamidian play Mikhail and Asgar, two guys in their early twenties working at a livestock market in Southern Iran. Mikhail and Asgar are small-town kids eager to earn some extra money and make something of themselves, so when their boss offers them a special project, they jump at the chance. Mikhail and Asgar are to transport a cow with weak legs from the market to Tehran, which seems like a simple assignment; however, the guys are on a strict deadline (the cow must arrive at its destination within 24 hours) and they soon discover the animal isn't a very good traveler. Add a truck that keeps breaking down and a pretty woman who needs help and it's anyone's guess if Mikhail, Asgar and the cow will ever make it to the big city. Rismaneh Baz (aka Loose Rope) was an official selection at the 2008 London Film Festival.
