This Universal three-reeler is set in someone's idea of an "artist's quarter." The heroine, a denizen of the slums, agrees to pose for a brilliant but lecherous artist. Having nowhere else to go, the girl becomes the artist's mistress. Eventually, her conscience gets the better of her, and she leaves her sordid surroundings to become the wife of a dedicated pediatrician. A few years later, the artist comes back to her life, threatening to reveal her sorry past to her husband unless she agrees to pose for him again. This is actually part of a plan hatched by the artist to ruin his former model's marriage. Instead, the husband and wife are reconciled, with the considerable aid of the couple's dewey-eyed baby son.
