According to some reports, ubiquitous poverty row entrepreneur Victor Adamson, aka Denver Dixon aka Art Mix, used yet another alias when he produced this low-budget silent oater. Let Him Buck, starring the completely unknown Dick Carter, was billed as a William (Bill) Mix Prod. and was one in a series of four oaters filmed in the early 1920s and released at intervals through the decade. The enigmatic Carter played that Western cliche, the son looking for his father's killer. Tracking down the murderer, Bill Mix meets an Eastern girl (Gene Crosby) who he later marries. The "William Mix" Westerns were released by Sanford Productions.
