In one of the oddest engagements of the American Civil War, a combined force of Confederate cavalry and Cherokee Indians captured an enormous Union wagon train in the battle of Cabin Creek. Cabin Creek was the last major engagement within the Indian Territory during the war, and one of the last bits of good news for the Confederacy in general. Besides the unique combination of the armies that took part in the fighting, Cabin Creek was also one of the largest engagements of the war to be fought at night. This 90-minute documentary brings the facts of this forgotten engagement to brilliant life.
