The oft-used title It Might Have Been was applied to this 1910 Lubin one-reeler. While rummaging through his old love letters, a bachelor decides to visit his former girl friends. It doesn't take him long to appreciate how lucky he is in his bachelorhood. All of his ex-sweethearts have turned into henpecking harpies, literally intimidating their husbands into what Thoreau described as "quiet desperation." Despite its repetition of a single joke, It Might Have Been was regarded as one of the better Lubin efforts.
