This documentary on the Texas Department of Corrections prison features the viewpoints of department officials, but never once interviews a prisoner and only once interviews a criminologist who is critical of the department's system. Inmates have to work inside the prison and in the fields, and good behavior is awarded with substantial cuts in the amount of time a prisoner has to serve. Because the documentary presents such a positive view of the prison, it might inadvertently raise questions in some viewer's minds as to the truth of this world that appears to be flawless.
