Hunting Tigers in India was one of the first documentary films to include a pre-recorded narration. The film was comprised of highlights from a recent hunting expedition undertaken by Commander George M. Dyott. Perhaps "highlights" is a poor choice of words, since nary a tiger is seen for the first 65 minutes. Only in the final two reels do the huge striped beasts appear, and even then they don't appear to be as "ferocious" as narrator Dyott claims. In addition, Dyott doesn't seem to harbor terribly strong memories of the hunt, since he is obviously referring to written notes throughout the proceedings.
